PSONE Chip - Full mod for PSONE Console. No more problems with Import Games.

Full Mod Chips for PSONE. These work on PSONE ONLY. You will NOT require a Bootloader CD in order to play Import games on your Console. Everything boots directly as normal.

NEO Key Mod PS2 mod (Basic Version of Neo2 Mod). This is something a little different. Basically, you need to put only 1 wire inside your PS2 and then just plug the 'key' into the top USB port on the front of your PS2. This allows you to play PSX Backups with a direct boot. Just stick in the disc and off it goes. PS2 Backups can be used, by booting your console using the Region X/ Extreme FM/ Action Replay 2 discs from Datel and then swapping it with your backup at the appropriate time!

Please Note:- To play 'EA Sports' protected PS2 Backups you will need to patch your images before writing them out. This is very simple and details on how to do this can be found at ADR Forums. If you do not patch your titles you will require a fully wired Neo2.2 or Preferably a NON-SWAP Zentex Upgrade.

NEO 2.2 Mod PS2 mod chip. This was the most popular mod chip. Developed by Neo Technologies, this chip is a five or eight wire mod inside your PS2. Once fitted, this mod allows you to play PSX Backups with a direct boot. Just stick in the disc and off it goes. PS2 Backups can be used, by booting your console using the Region X/ Extreme FM/ Action Replay 2 discs from Datel and then swapping it with your backup at the appropriate time!

This chip DOES work with all games, including Non-Patched EA Sports PS2 Backups.
Please Note:- Import Original PS2 titles CANNOT be played.
Please Note:- Sony have released a new version of PS2, designated 'R' (v5). Most of these cannot boot using EA Method and games MUST be patched. They also cannot play older Datel Discs such as the Region X, etc. So make sure if you have this version, that you get an Action Replay 2 V2. This one has multi-region in it as well!

1) Zentex 'M' Hardware Upgrade Module. This is a State of the art PCB, with Custom ASIC Device and other components on board.
2) Full Fitting instructions on CD. The full wiring count for this upgrade is 23 wires. No Components need to be removed or tracks cut.

This Hardware Upgrade is not really an amateur job and we recommend that you have all the necessary tools and equipment to complete this job successfully or get a person who is to fit it for you. Recommended Wire is 0.38 Enamelled Copper wire (Possibly even 0.30 Kynar Wire). Also make sure you have have flux (seperate to the solder) and desolder braid and 1mm or smaller bit for your soldering iron. Without these items, successful installation will be a struggle, if not impossible.

The Zentex 'M' Upgrade is Compatible with the following console versions:-

1) PAL v3, v4, v4r, v5, v6 (more like a v5.1) - (30002/3/4 & 35002/3/4). This is basically all currently known versions of PAL Consoles.
It is NOT Currently Compatible with Any Other versions including ANY USA or Japanese Console (Yet!)
