PS2 DVD RGB Fix

Once you have done the modification shown on the diagram below, you will be able to playback your DVD's in Full Colour RGB.

PS2 NEO1 Mod Chip

Allows PSX Backups to play on the PS2. This chip does NOT allow PS2 Backups to be played. For that you will require a NEO2 Mod Chip and Action Replay 2 V1.3.

PS2 JAPAN MOD CHIP DIAGRAM

Worlds 1st Mod Chip Diagram for the Playstation 2!!! Uses 12c508.

Each of the Mods currently available for the PS2 require a swap of the disc during boot once the chip has been fitted. They also allow PS1 backups to be played. Although we do believe that this is limited to same region PS1/ PS2 backups.

Also the DVD region has only been hacked on the very first release of the PS2 in Japan. Therefore the US release out now will not be multi region for the time being. This is probably not such a big priority to the US market, as they have the best selection of DVD titles available to them. However once the PS2 is released in europe on 24th November, the demand for a multi region DVD mod will be massive. So stay tuned, we will bring you the latest diagrams/ mods as and when they are available.

PS2 MOD CHIP CODE

PS2 12c508/9 Neo 2 Mod Chip Code - This is currently unavailable on the Net. Most sites claiming to have it, have either a fake or a beta version, that works on some games. Definitely not EA games though. When the full code becomes available, I will release it here.

PS2 12c509 Neo Mod Chip Code - Only allows playback of PSX games on PS2 - For UK/ European/ US/ Jap Machines.
