How can the companies afford to pay me for doing nothing?

Virtually all of the companies covered operate in the same way and on the same basic business model. That is, that they get money for each person who sees a particular advert from the company being advertised. For each advert displayed they are giving a big chunk of the money they received for showing you the advert to YOU. Then they give another bit to each level of referrals and finally they take their 'cut'. Therefore you get most of the money and they make a small bit, but from thousands/millions of people. Everyone is happy!

What's the catch?

There isn't one. Only to say read the other sections in this faq, but basically there is no catch.

Are you sure that I am actually going to get money out of this?

As long as you do what it says for you to do, then YES, you will receive money, for doing nothing more that watching a few ads on your screen. I personally have received a few cheque's from some of these companies. I have some copies of cheques sent out to people from each of these companies. I will look to update this page when I get new cheques.

Are there any limits to the amount I can make?

NO, there are sometimes limits to the amount of hours you can get paid for in a single month. However, none of the programs restrict the number of referrals that you can have, that you get paid for. So, this is not a solution to getting rich(unless you are prepared to spend huge amounts of time making this work for you), but can provide a nice little stream of income with verylittle effort required.

Is there a limit to the number of programs I can join?

No, there is no limit to the number of programs you can join. You can only join each program once though.

Is there a limit to the number of programs I can use simultaneously?

Not officially, although if you run more than 4 or 5 at a time, then you are not going to have much screen space left for using your machine. I have about that many running sometimes, but it can get a little cramped. A possible solution to this, would be to put a second graphics card in your machine and share the programs and your use of the machine across 2 screens, which should work, although I haven't tried it(YET).

What are referrals and where do they come in to the picture?

Referrals are the key to getting more money out of each of these programs. They basically consist of people joining these programs using your 'ID' number. I hope that if you join any of the programs found my web pages, that you join using my referral ID. Once someone has joined a program and begins to get paid for their time, you will also get paid for their time. It will be at a lower rate than you get paid directly, but you still get some extra money. You get this for everyone who signs up underneath you. You also usually get paid(a lower amount again) for ALL people who join up underneath the people who joined through you. This goes on for a number of levels(usually 5). Therefore by only referring a few people, you will find the number of referrals going up on their own! This is where the most money is to be made.

Am I going to get rich off this?

Not likely, although with a large amount of time spent on it, it is possible to do. There are some people who are receiving cheques each month from one single program for more than $4000. So, you could, but you will then really have to earn it(or know a lot of people!).

What are the best programs to join?

What can I do to improve my earnings and how can I get more referrals?

Earnings are greatly improved by only one thing - REFERRALS. These can be improved by letting people know about this new way to get money. There will be millions of people on the internet who have not heard of this system and who are looking for more money. Therefore be creative in your targeting of adverts. Make yourself a web site and use that to let people know what there is and how it works. This doesn't have to take up all your free time. Just do a bit at the weekend or a little on the odd night and you can soon notch up a healthy referrals list.

How do I know how many referrals I have?

All of the programs allow you to see how many referrals you have and to usually see how much you have earned from them this month.

What do I need to look out for to stop myself being caught out?

There are a few things you need to check out when using these programs. They are:-

• Make sure that the company are accepting and paying people in your country. I live in the United Kingdom. I have found that a lot of the programs out there are only paying inside the USA. Therefore I have tried to highlight those companies that are paying to anyone worldwide, as well as those promising to pay worldwide soon.
• Are they paying now. Is the company actually paying out currently or are they still developing their site and advertising programs/contracts. This whole idea is very new and there are a lot of companies looking to get in on the act. However, many are not actually paying out just yet. Or are not paying out in certain regions as above.
• When will they be paying? Check to see when they are promising to pay people in your area and how long it is likely to be before you can get paid. - You can usually still start referring people for when they do start paying out.
• What rate are they promising Some companies specify a specific rate that they will be paying you for your time and your referrals time. Others only specify the rate once the month has finished. It is worth looking to see what the previous month's payout rate was for these companies.
• Do you get paid for using your browser or for all use of your machine? Again, some programs pay you only for the time you spend connected to the internet using a web browser. Others will pay you just for using your computer and being connected to the internet. They do not require you to actually be surfing the net. Only for you to be using your computer.
• How many levels of referrals do they pay for? This, again is worth checking out. Most pay out for 5 levels in total. Some are less, some are more, but it can affect your overall earnings in a program quite dramatically.
• What do they pay you for Referrals and how can you get them? Each program pays a different amount for your referrals. It is usually a few times lower than your direct rate. Again, this can affect your earnings over the long term greatly.
• What support do they give you? check out each program to find out what they will offer you to get you started and earning from referrals.
• Can you see how much you have earned? Check to see if the company show you continuously how much you have earned this month. This can be useful in spurring you on for earning/referring more.
• How much do you have to earn, before getting paid? This is one that seems to fluctuate greatly. Some programs pay you from $20 on, some $50 on and I have even found one that wont pay you until you earn $100!!. So, check to see when you can get paid.
• Does the program work on your machine/ operating system? Most of these programs only work on Microsoft Windows operating systems. There is the odd one that is adding Macintosh support in. So, most of you should be ok, but those with other operating systems that Microsoft will have to check carefully.
• Is the program stable? I have found that some programs are very unstable. Many are in beta test and this has caused me to have to reboot my machine reasonably regularly. Just one to note and avoid if you don't like the idea of using beta software on your machine.

Is there a way to cheat these programs?

Well, this is one question that is a little bit awkward to answer. Basically YES, with a big BUT, you should be very careful about doing any kind of cheating, because the various companies know that some people would like to increase the amount they are getting and so they have started to build in various checking programs and code to stop you doing so. I know that some programs can lock out the web browser when macros are running and therefore are stopping you earning. Others spot specific programs that you may be running and will shut down your account with them when detected. This will then lead to you losing any money you have earned and of course losing your entire downline that you have spent ages developing. So, please be careful when attempting to cheat the system, because they are watching you and will try and stop you. However, if you still want to try this out, then look for macro programs at www.winfiles.com as there should be some available there. Watch out for the programs in the spotlight.
