Where do I download the ProfitZONE?
You can download the ProfitZONE by logging into your account with your user name and password.

What is the ProfitZONE?
The ProfitZONE is an interactive communications device that resides on the bottom of your computer screen and displays exciting offers that we think would appeal to you.

How do I download the ProfitZONE?
When the file download box pops up, choose "Save this program to a disk" and click "Ok". Then the "save as" box will pop up. Navigate to where you want to save it (we recommend your desktop) and click "save." After the message "download complete" pops up, go to wherever you saved the ProfitZONE and double click on the icon to open the installation screen. Click next and choose where you want to install it, (we recommend c:/programfiles/profitzone) and click continue. You will then be asked to create a folder for the ProfitZONE - click yes. This will start the ProfitZONE setup screen. You should close all your other programs and click "next." Then just follow the instructions on the screen and finish installing the ProfitZONE. The last screen will ask you to click "finish." You can then open the ProfitZONE by going to start, programs, ProfitZONE.

How do I enable cookies on my Internet Explorer Web Browser?
For Internet Explorer 4.0x, click on "View", then choose "Internet Options", next click the tab labeled "Advanced". When you see the advanced tab options, scroll down until you see the see the section labeled "cookies". Now, bubble in the "Always accept cookies" option. Click "OK" and you are ready to use the ProfitZONE.

For Internet Explorer 5.0+, click on "Tools", then choose "Internet Options", next click the tab labeled "Security". When you see the security tab options, in the bottom of the box, click on the button labeled "Custom Level". Next, scroll down until you see the heading "Cookies", under which there are 2 sections. Make sure that the option "Enabled" is bubbled in under both sections.

Why do I have to click "continue" every 25 to 35 minutes to stay logged on with the ProfitZONE?
We have programmed it to do this so we could ensure our advertisers that members aren't just starting the ProfitZONE and walking away from their computer. We realize that we could have programmed it to log you off if your mouse/keyboard hadn't been active in x minutes. However, there are programs out there that can simulate mouse/keyboard movements, and effectively cheat the ProfitZONE. We do not think that this would be fair to our advertisers, nor the members who use the ProfitZONE honestly.

Where can I see how much time I've accumulated so far?
You can view your account statistics by clicking the "Your Account" tab at the top of any page and loging in with your user name and password.

Where can I see how much money I've accumulated so far?
We expect that sometime in March 2000 we will be able to show you your current earnings, update every 24 hours. Official monthly earnings will be posted after the end of each month to reflect that month's CPM rates.

What are the requirements for downloading the ProfitZONE?
1. You must have Internet Explorer 4.0 or 5.0 installed on your computer
2. Your operating system must be: Windows 95, Window 98, or Window NT 4.0 or higher
3. You must have a connection to the Internet

What is the ProfitZONE supposed to look like on my computer?


How do I change my settings so that the ProfitZONE does not open everytime I start my computer?
1) Right click on the "Start" button on your task bar. 2) Select "Open". 3) Double Click on "Programs". 4) Double Click on "Startup". 5) Highlight the "ProfitZONE" and delete it by either right clicking on the icon and selecting "Delete" or hitting the "Delete" key. 6) Click "OK" to delete it. You are done. When you restart your system, the ProfitZONE will no longer automatically load.

What is you spam policy?
Spam is absolutely forbidden. If you are found violating this rule, your membership privileges will be revoked and you will forfeit your referral network.

How much money can I make?
The amount you can make is only limited by the number of people you successfully refer to DesktopDollars.com and to the amount of time you spend using the ProfitZONE while you are connected to the Internet.

When will I get paid?
When your account exceeds $20, we will send you a debit card for your account. Every month your earnings will be credited to this card, if they exceed $20. If they do not exceed $20, they will be rolled over to the following month's earnings. Click here to learn more about the debit card. If you prefer, you will also have the option of getting paid by check.

Is the amount that I get paid for my referrals' time qualified and restricted in any way?
Absolutely not. You get full credit for all of your referrals' time no matter what.

How can you afford to pay me for surfing the web?
DesktopDollars.com sells some of the space on the ProfitZONE to advertisers. This money is then used to pay you. We are able to do this because we spend very little on money on advertising ourselves. Instead, we rely on YOU, our members, to tell the world about our program.

Will I get junk email?
NO. DesktopDollars.com does not give, sell, or rent your name, address, e-mail address, or any other information you enter on the registration page to anyone. DesktopDollars.com prides itself on serving the needs of our members. We are absolutely committed to your privacy. DesktopDollars.com does not share your information with others under any circumstances. If you check the appropriate box on the registration page, you will receive email offers available to DD Members only. If you don't want the special offers, then don't check the box. When will you begin counting my time online so I can get paid?

You will begin accruing time for regular payment on February 15, 2000.

Is DesktopDollars open to International users?
DesktopDollars is open to every country that is found in the drop down menu on the registration page. The only countries excluded are those sanctioned by the United Nations. However, with International users, accounts must grow larger than $40 before the ClixCard will be sent.

Is DesktopDollars available to WebTV and Mac users?
DesktopDollars is not available to WebTV and Mac users. The ProfitZONE is not compatible with WebTV and Mac (we are working on a Mac version).

Does the ProfitZONE work over a Proxy Server?
Yes. We have run several tests using multiple configurations to ensure that the ProfitZONE will work over a proxy server. However, if you are behind a firewall or a proxy server, they must be configured to allow access to https (secure sites).

Can I cancel my account?
We don't know why you would want to, but you can cancel your account by logging into your account page. It's at the very bottom of the page. Please know that cancelling your account is final, and by doing so you will forfeit your referral network.
